Texas and Colorado based artist, Stuart Bailey, makes signs and other pieces using found wood and paint.  He is inspired by seeing barn signs, folk art, and roadside Americana.  He strives for building pieces which are interesting and pleasing to the eye, heart, and the mind.

Artist’s statement

I create upcycled wood and paint pieces. Enjoy conjuring colorful folk art with a touch of whimsy, thought, and smiles.  My inspiration derives from art and styles all around me. I may be in a gallery enjoying paintings but become enthralled with the wooden sculpture stand. I try to find for each piece some juxtaposition, contrast, and beauty.
